Transformation Accelerators and Executive Advisory Blocks

The CFO-TA Production Subscription establishes the persistent Executive Sponsor Platform for one Enterprise Transformation Program. It includes the platform capabilities, guidance, onboarding, customer support, defined quality-control assistance, and normal exception assistance required to operate The CFO-TA within the subscribed boundary.

Some situations require additional human expertise beyond that included support. Alentra provides two complementary fixed-fee options:

  • Transformation Accelerators provide concentrated specialist intervention for a defined transformation challenge.

  • Executive Advisory Blocks provide flexible access to senior transformation judgment for consequential Executive Sponsor needs.

Both options can be purchased with or without The CFO-TA Production Subscription. For Production customers, the additional expertise can operate within the existing Sponsor Intent foundation so applicable decisions, evidence, outputs, and organizational learning remain connected to the Enterprise Transformation Program.

Transformation Accelerators

Focused Intervention for a Defined Transformation Challenge

Transformation Accelerators are short-duration, high-intensity engagements for bounded transformation challenges requiring concentrated specialist expertise, analysis, facilitation, assurance, or executive-level intervention. The organization commissions a defined intervention with an expected outcome, explicit responsibilities, clear commercial boundaries, and an agreed completion point.

Each Transformation Accelerator establishes:

  • The specific challenge or objective

  • Expected outcome

  • Defined scope

  • Deliverables or decision-ready outputs

  • Alentra responsibilities

  • Client responsibilities

  • Required participants

  • Required information and readiness conditions

  • Duration and timeline

  • Explicit exclusions

  • Conditions requiring additional commercial authorization

  • Fixed fee

  • Payment terms

How Transformation Accelerators Are Priced

Transformation Accelerators are separately scoped and fixed-fee. Alentra establishes the price based on the defined challenge, required expertise, participants, analysis, facilitation, assurance, duration, complexity, expected outputs, and readiness conditions.

The fixed fee is established before the engagement begins, giving the client a defined commercial commitment for the authorized intervention. Individual transformation challenges can require materially different levels of specialist expertise and effort, so each commercial structure reflects the specific intervention being commissioned rather than a published hourly rate.

Payment and Activation

Transformation Accelerators are prepaid. Payment must be received before Alentra begins substantive Accelerator activities or commits the applicable specialist capacity.

Before activation, the executed agreement establishes:

  • The challenge and expected outcome

  • Authorized scope

  • Alentra responsibilities

  • Client responsibilities

  • Required participants

  • Required information

  • Readiness conditions

  • Deliverables or decision-ready outputs

  • Duration and timeline

  • Commercial terms

  • Explicit exclusions

  • Conditions requiring additional authorization

The Transformation Accelerator begins after the applicable commercial, participation, information, and readiness conditions have been satisfied.

Scope Changes

The agreed fixed fee covers the Transformation Accelerator scope authorized before activation. When the need expands materially, Alentra and the client define the additional work, responsibilities, expected outputs, timing, and commercial terms before expanded work begins.

An expanded need can be addressed through:

  • An authorized extension to the existing Transformation Accelerator

  • A separately scoped Transformation Accelerator

  • An Executive Advisory Block when the additional need is primarily advisory

  • Another specifically commissioned engagement appropriate to the required work

This preserves clear client authorization over scope, responsibilities, timing, and spending throughout the engagement.

Cancellation and Refunds

Once activated, a Transformation Accelerator is non-cancellable and non-refundable except for an Alentra-caused termination event established in the applicable agreement or as otherwise required by law.

Relationship to The CFO-TA

Transformation Accelerators extend the human expertise available to an organization when a defined challenge requires concentrated intervention beyond the support included in the Production Subscription.

Production customers can apply a Transformation Accelerator within an existing Enterprise Transformation Program. Trial customers and organizations without a Production Subscription can also commission an appropriate bounded intervention.

For Production customers, applicable Accelerator decisions, evidence, outputs, and organizational learning can become part of the existing Sponsor Intent foundation and the SILMS. They can remain traceable to the relevant Transformation Components and Releases, preserving continuity between the specialist intervention and the broader Enterprise Transformation Program.

The Transformation Accelerator does not transfer Sponsor authority to Alentra. The Executive Sponsor retains authority over Sponsor Intent, consequential decisions, acceptance, tradeoffs, and intended outcomes.

Executive Advisory Blocks

Senior Advisory Capacity for Consequential Sponsor Needs

Executive Advisory Blocks provide flexible access to experienced senior Alentra transformation leadership when an Executive Sponsor requires additional judgment, independent challenge, or advisory support beyond the assistance included in the Production Subscription. The service is designed for situations in which the Executive Sponsor needs experienced transformation judgment without commissioning a defined specialist intervention.

The Executive Sponsor purchases access to senior advisory capacity for an agreed need and availability period. The Executive Advisory Block provides flexibility around consequential situations while maintaining defined access, participants, responsibilities, timing, capacity, and commercial boundaries.

Typical uses include:

  • Consequential Executive Sponsor decisions

  • Sponsor Intent interpretation

  • Independent challenge

  • Leadership alignment

  • Executive or Steering Committee preparation

  • Provider recommendations

  • Statement of Work questions

  • Change-order review

  • Commercial pressure points

  • Consequential exceptions

  • Escalation situations

  • Emerging Enterprise Transformation Program risks

  • Other high-consequence situations requiring experienced transformation judgment

How Executive Advisory Blocks Are Priced

Executive Advisory Blocks are fixed-fee advisory engagements. Alentra establishes the commercial structure after confirming the advisory need and the senior capacity required to support it.

Before establishing the fixed fee, Alentra confirms:

  • The advisory need

  • Expected participants

  • Expected level of access

  • Anticipated senior advisory capacity

  • Availability period

  • Scheduling and response expectations

  • Commercial boundaries

The customer purchases the resulting Executive Advisory Block at the agreed fixed fee. Internal effort estimates support Alentra's capacity planning and pricing discipline, while the customer-facing commercial unit remains the Executive Advisory Block rather than an hourly rate.

Payment and Activation

Executive Advisory Blocks are prepaid. Payment must be received before the Block is activated and the applicable senior advisory capacity is reserved.

Before activation, the executed agreement establishes:

  • The advisory need

  • Availability period

  • Authorized participants

  • Expected level of access

  • Anticipated senior advisory capacity

  • Scheduling requirements

  • Response expectations

  • Rescheduling requirements

  • Commercial boundaries

  • Other applicable operating conditions

This gives Alentra and the Executive Sponsor a common understanding of how the reserved advisory capacity can be used during the agreed period.

Availability and Expiration

Each Executive Advisory Block has a defined availability period and expiration date established before purchase. Advisory capacity is available during that period, and unused capacity expires at the end of the agreed period unless Alentra expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

The applicable agreement establishes the scheduling, access, response, rescheduling, authorized-participant, and operating conditions required to preserve the availability of senior Alentra resources. These boundaries allow Alentra to reserve experienced advisory capacity while giving the Executive Sponsor clear expectations for access and use.

Executive Advisory Block Boundaries

Executive Advisory Blocks focus senior Alentra expertise on defined consequential Sponsor needs. When a requirement expands into substantial delivery capacity, execution activity, intensive analysis, recurring specialist support, or a defined specialist intervention, Alentra and the client establish the appropriate additional commercial structure before that work begins.

Activities requiring separate commercial treatment can include:

  • Substantial bespoke deliverables

  • Open-ended analysis

  • Staff augmentation

  • Project management

  • Execution labor

  • Organizational change execution

  • Operational task execution

  • System implementation

  • System configuration

  • Data remediation

  • Defect resolution

When an advisory need develops into substantial analysis, a defined intervention, recurring specialist support, a material work product, or execution activity, Alentra can propose a Transformation Accelerator or another separately authorized engagement.

Relationship to The CFO-TA

Executive Advisory Blocks extend The CFO-TA with situation-specific senior transformation judgment. Production customers can add an Executive Advisory Block when a consequential situation requires advisory capacity beyond the support included in the Production Subscription. Trial customers and organizations without a Production Subscription can also use an Executive Advisory Block for an appropriate defined need.

For Production customers, advisory activity can operate within the authoritative Sponsor Intent foundation and draw upon applicable Enterprise Transformation Program context. Decisions, evidence, and resulting organizational learning can remain connected to the SILMS when appropriate.

The Executive Sponsor retains authority over Sponsor Intent, consequential decisions, acceptance, tradeoffs, and intended outcomes. The Executive Advisory Block provides judgment, independent challenge, analysis, and advice without transferring Sponsor authority to Alentra.

Included Support Versus Separately Purchased Expertise

The Production Subscription includes the platform guidance, standard Production Activation guidance, Sponsor Team onboarding, customer support, defined quality-control assistance, and normal exception assistance associated with operating The CFO-TA within the subscribed Enterprise Transformation Program.

The client's designated technical resources remain responsible for deployment within the client Microsoft environment, ongoing Microsoft administration, identity and access, user and approved third-party access administration, security, licensing, storage, capacity, Information Governance, environment troubleshooting, and ongoing technical support.

Separately purchased human expertise applies when the organization requires concentrated specialist intervention, senior advisory capacity, intensive assurance, substantial bespoke analysis, extended facilitation, customer-specific technical engineering, integration, remediation, or other specifically commissioned work beyond the included Production Subscription support boundary.

Included Within the Production Subscription

  • Standard Production Activation guidance

  • Sponsor Team onboarding and role enablement

  • Entitlement and standard permission architecture

  • Normal platform and methodology questions within the subscribed Enterprise Transformation Program

  • Applicable guidance and support for entitled users

  • Defined quality-control assistance

  • Normal exception assistance

  • Generally available methodology evolution

  • Generally available platform evolution

  • Continuing Alentra intelligence

  • Future SILMS releases during the active Production Subscription

  • Generally available new capabilities within the subscribed scope

Separately Purchased Human Expertise

  • Senior advisory capacity for a defined consequential Sponsor need

  • Concentrated specialist intervention beyond included support

  • Extended facilitation, analysis, or assurance

  • Substantial bespoke analysis or deliverables

  • Recurring specialist support beyond the included boundary

  • Customer-specific technical engineering beyond standard Production Activation guidance

  • Custom integration, configuration, connectors, automation, or remediation

  • Execution activity, staff augmentation, or project-management capacity

  • Other specifically commissioned work outside the Production Subscription boundary

When a customer need extends beyond included support, Alentra establishes the appropriate engagement structure, commercial boundaries, and fixed price before additional work begins.

Which Option Fits the Need?

Choose a Transformation Accelerator When

A Transformation Accelerator fits a bounded transformation challenge requiring concentrated specialist expertise, a defined intervention, and an expected outcome. The engagement establishes the authorized challenge, scope, responsibilities, deliverables or decision-ready outputs, duration, readiness conditions, exclusions, and fixed fee in advance.

Transformation Accelerator = Defined Challenge + Defined Scope + Defined Outcome + Defined Duration + Fixed Fee

Choose an Executive Advisory Block When

An Executive Advisory Block fits a consequential Sponsor need requiring flexible access to experienced senior transformation judgment over an agreed availability period. The Block establishes the advisory need, authorized participants, anticipated senior capacity, access expectations, scheduling requirements, availability period, commercial boundaries, and fixed fee in advance.

Executive Advisory Block = Defined Advisory Need + Agreed Senior Capacity + Defined Availability Period + Fixed Fee

Use the Production Subscription When

The Production Subscription provides the persistent Executive Sponsor Platform for one Enterprise Transformation Program. It includes the continuing platform capabilities, guidance, standard Production Activation and onboarding, customer support, defined quality-control assistance, and normal exception assistance associated with the subscribed entitlement.

The annual Production Subscription structure remains consistent as the Enterprise Transformation Program progresses. Smaller Programs can require fewer annual terms, while larger, phased, or longer-running Programs can continue across additional terms. Transformation Accelerators and Executive Advisory Blocks remain separately authorized when additional human expertise is required.

Commercial Principles

Transformation Accelerators and Executive Advisory Blocks follow a consistent commercial architecture:

  • Fixed-fee customer pricing

  • Defined scope or advisory boundaries

  • Explicit client and Alentra responsibilities

  • Defined deliverables, decision-ready outputs, or advisory capacity

  • Defined duration or availability period

  • Explicit readiness and participation requirements where applicable

  • Prepayment before activation

  • Client authorization before expanded work begins

  • Executive Sponsor authority remains with the client

  • Production Subscription is optional for supplemental human expertise

  • Supplemental human expertise does not automatically change an existing Production Subscription

  • Program duration and supplemental human-expertise use are separate commercial considerations

  • Supplemental expertise does not provide independent rights to The CFO-TA, the SILMS, Alentra intelligence, methodology, platform capabilities, or other Alentra intellectual property

  • Commercial commitments do not guarantee specific business, financial, adoption, or Enterprise Transformation Program outcomes
