The Process Intelligence Agent Roadmap

The Business‑Side Intelligence Layer for the AI‑Accelerating Enterprise

Alentra is the Deterministic Process Intelligence Architecture company, the creator of the governed enterprise layer that stabilizes meaning, aligns autonomous AI systems, and restores leadership control in an AI-accelerating world.

The Deterministic Process Intelligence Architecture is not a product. It is the Enterprise Management Control Layer, the governed substrate that gives leaders a structured way to author meaning, align execution, and operate with safe autonomy everywhere AI touches work.

At the center of this architecture is the SSOS Agent, the Signature Business-Side Process Intelligence Agent (PIA) and the reference implementation of the architecture.

The SSOS Agent is the leadership and decision system that governs strategy, selection, implementation, and value realization. It retrieves authored meaning, deterministic logic, alignment rules, readiness criteria, and Compass Bearings micro-videos exactly when leaders need them.

It is the first PIA and the foundation every future PIA inherits.
For context on how PIAs evolve over time, see the Generations Model.

1. What the Process Intelligence Architecture Makes Possible

The Deterministic Process Intelligence Architecture creates a new enterprise layer:
the Business‑Side Intelligence Layer.

This layer:

  • governs leadership logic

  • stabilizes meaning across autonomous AI systems

  • aligns strategy, selection, implementation, and value realization

  • ensures AI operates within leadership intent

  • gives Sponsors a governed system of their own

It is the leadership counterpart to system‑side AI, the layer that keeps the enterprise human‑aligned.

Every PIA in the roadmap extends this governed foundation.

2. The SSOS Agent, The Signature PIA

The SSOS Agent is the first Gen 1 Domain PIA and signature Process Intelligence Agent, the reference implementation of the architecture and the Enterprise Management Control Layer for ERP, CRM, and Analytics transformations.

It governs:

  • Compass™ leadership logic

  • DCS™ execution logic

  • readiness criteria

  • evidence requirements

  • decision pathways

  • Compass Bearings™ micro‑videos

It is not a tool you learn.
It is a Sponsor‑Side Support System (SSOS Agent) that meets you where you are.

The SSOS Agent replaces improvisation with clarity, structure, and governed AI autonomy — giving every Sponsor the confidence and posture of a seasoned transformation executive, even if this is their first major program.

Every advisory PIA in the roadmap inherits the same governed foundation.

3. Advisory Gen 1 PIAs (Near‑Term Roadmap)

The Authoring PIA (Gen 1 On-Ramp for Stage 0 Enterprises)

The Authoring PIA teaches enterprises how to author Meaning Models, define evidence discipline, and create validated Gen 0 PIAs. These Gen 0 PIAs become the semantic foundation that every future Domain PIA inherits. The Authoring PIA is the on-ramp into the Process Intelligence Architecture and prepares organizations for the full Gen 1 and Gen 2 PIA ecosystem.

Extending the Flight Operations model across the transformation lifecycle

These PIAs are the first Domain PIAs in the Business-Side Intelligence Layer. They govern the logic behind the enterprise’s most important transformation decisions and can be deployed immediately with no engineering.

Each Domain PIA inherits:

  • authored meaning

  • deterministic logic

  • alignment rules

  • readiness criteria

  • scenario governance

  • lifecycle awareness

Together, they extend the Business-Side Intelligence Layer across the transformation lifecycle.

TGP - Transformation Governance PIA (Signature Domain PIA – represented by the SSOS Agent)

The flagship Domain PIA. Governs strategy, selection, implementation, and value realization.
The SSOS Agent is the reference implementation of the TGP Domain and the first example of a governed transformation system authored by the business.

DGP - Data Governance PIA
Governs enterprise definitions, ownership, quality, and decision rights to keep data aligned, trusted, and leader-controlled.

RQP - Requirements Quality PIA
Governs requirement clarity, completeness, alignment, and traceability — ensuring the enterprise defines what it needs before partners design what they want.

UAP - User Acceptance PIA
Governs UAT readiness, scenario coverage, acceptance criteria, and decision rights — ensuring UAT validates business outcomes, not system behavior.

PMP - Process Mapping PIA
Governs process definition, decomposition, ownership, and alignment to transformation intent.

COP - Change Ownership PIA
Governs change readiness, communication logic, adoption criteria, and leadership alignment.

TSG - Transformation-Side Governance PIA

Governs transformation posture, pacing, and cross-functional alignment for the client’s internal transformation team. This PIA ensures the team operates with consistent routines, decision logic, and alignment to the enterprise’s transformation intent.

PSG - Program-Side Governance PIA
Governs program structure, sequencing, and readiness.

CSG - Change-Side Governance PIA
Governs adoption, communication, and organizational readiness.

DSG - Delivery-Side Governance PIA
Governs partner execution, scope stability, and implementation discipline.

These advisory PIAs extend the business-side Flight Operations model across the transformation lifecycle.

4. Future Roadmap - Gen 2 PIAs (Expansion of the Domain Ecosystem)

The Deterministic Process Intelligence Architecture was designed to scale across every leadership and operational domain. The PIAs in the near-term roadmap represent Gen 1, the Alentra-authored governance layer.

Gen 2 PIAs extend the architecture into business-authored governance, enabling enterprises, partners, and industry experts to create their own Domain PIAs on top of the governed substrate.

These Gen 2 PIAs fall into four expansion categories.

Leadership and Management PIAs

These PIAs extend the architecture into the foundational leadership domains that shape clarity, alignment, and team effectiveness. They encode leadership intent, behavioral expectations, and decision posture into structured, repeatable logic.

Examples include:

  • Leadership Dynamics PIA

  • Mission PIA

  • Objectives PIA

  • Role PIA

  • Human PIA

  • Culture PIA

Transformation Governance PIAs

PIAs that coordinate cross-functional alignment across strategy, selection, implementation, and value realization.

Examples include:

  • Transformation Strategy PIA

  • Solution Selection PIA

  • AI Governance PIA

  • Implementation Assurance PIA

System-Side Execution PIAs

PIAs that align ERP, CRM, analytics, and AI systems to the logic authored in Domain PIAs.

Examples include:

  • configuration logic PIAs

  • metadata PIAs

  • workflow PIAs

  • AI routing PIAs

  • integration PIAs

Enterprise Function PIAs

These PIAs extend the architecture into specialized business domains and will be developed by subject-matter experts and future licensees.

Examples include:

  • Finance Governance PIA

  • Risk Governance PIA

  • Audit Governance PIA

  • IT Governance PIA

  • Customer Governance PIA

  • Supply Chain Governance PIA

  • Procurement Governance PIA

  • Product Governance PIA

  • Marketing Governance PIA

  • Sales Governance PIA

Industry PIAs

These PIAs adapt the architecture to vertical needs and will be developed by industry partners and licensees.

Examples include:

  • Manufacturing Governance PIA

  • Healthcare Governance PIA

  • Financial Services Governance PIA

  • Public Sector Governance PIA

  • Non-Profit Governance PIA

  • Retail Governance PIA

  • Energy Governance PIA

  • Life Sciences Governance PIA

5. The Business‑Side Intelligence Layer

The Deterministic Process Intelligence Architecture was designed from day one to scale across leadership domains. The SSOS Agent is the first PIA, but it is only the beginning. As the ecosystem grows, additional PIAs will extend governed autonomy, authored meaning, and lifecycle-aware intelligence across the enterprise.

The roadmap is not a list of features. It is a declaration of what becomes possible when leaders finally have a Business-Side Intelligence Layer of their own.

A governed layer.
A human-aligned layer.
A leadership-first layer.

This is the Deterministic Process Intelligence Era.

Alentra created the architecture that makes it possible.

6. Why This Roadmap Matters Now

AI autonomy is accelerating faster than leadership governance.

That gap is where drift, rework, and transformation failure take root.

The Deterministic Process Intelligence Architecture closes that gap.

It gives leaders:

  • a governed system

  • a stable substrate

  • a structured way to align autonomous AI

  • a Business-Side Intelligence Layer of their own

This is the Deterministic Process Intelligence Era.

Alentra created the architecture that makes it possible.
